Correspondence Uncover the late financier and Steve Bannon Relationship

Steve Bannon
Bannon was one of the former president's top advisers prior to stepping down from the administration in August 2017

In November 2018, Steve Bannon, previously a top aide to Donald Trump, was in the UK preparing for a address at the prestigious Oxford Union.

The speech was disrupted by numerous demonstrators, and Bannon, scheduled to board a flight that evening, told Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Activists delayed my talk I doubt I can catch the plane we are heading to heathrow".

Epstein replied: "There. Is a Gulf Air departing at 950 with a stop in Bahrain". Bannon answered: "U r an amazing assistant".

These exchanges were released on this week alongside more than 20,000 documents from the estate of Epstein, the deceased convicted sex offender.

The disclosure by the Congressional committee includes an iMessage chat where Bannon's name is withheld. Media outlets has been able to confirm his involvement by matching the timeline, occurrences, and places mentioned.

For example, Epstein talks about chartering a plane from the UK for the redacted user in the chat, and commends their "Oxford speech". Bannon participated in the News Xchange conference on November 14, and delivered the speech at the Oxford two days later.

Bannon, who is not accused of any wrongdoing, did not reply on the inquiry.

'I'll make sure you're well looked after'

Bannon was one of the president's key advisers in the run up to the 2016 election and in the early days of his presidency, but stepped down from the White House in August 2017.

He has acknowledged he was making a film about Epstein prior to his death and reportedly has around 15 hours of footage. In a recording of his podcast recently, he stated: "We're going to release the film, the five-part series, next year - early next year."

But the newly released materials suggest Bannon's relationship with Epstein went further than documenting his life, with the convicted paedophile occasionally seeming to act like a personal assistant.

A short time before the exchange in which Epstein appeared to have arranged a private plane for Bannon, Epstein said: "how does it feel to have the most highly paid booking agent in history ".

Bannon expressed gratitude: "You are quite capable assistant", to which Epstein replied "Therapies. Not Included".

Discussing a visit to "Abu Dhabi" in another message, Epstein assured Bannon: "I'll make sure you're taken care of."

British Affairs Discussed in Exchanges

The released messages also show Bannon and Epstein talking about UK politics in 2018.

On the same day his speech at the Oxford Union, Bannon messaged Epstein: "I've gotten pulled into the EU exit thing this morning with Farage, Boris and Rees Mogg."

Then, in what seems like a allusion to the UK prime minister, the embattled British leader at the period, he continued: "They are attempting to move on. may today / tomorrow…"

Epstein advised Bannon: "I think remaining as much as you can in the UK. Best-- so others get the commitment of your follow through."

Shortly after, Epstein inquired: "Can Theresa may survive". Bannon replied: "It seems unlikely however the people here have little courage" and noted "Johnson ; Gove; Rees Mogg; Davis - someone has to step up".

Theresa May was finally toppled in May 2019 after withstanding two votes of no confidence in late 2018.

A spokesman for the political party informed the BBC: "Nigel Farage has not been in a gathering with Bannon, Jacob Rees Mogg and Johnson." And there is no evidence that encounter occurred.

The US House of Representatives will decide soon on whether the justice department should release all its records concerning its probe into Epstein, who passed away in prison in 2019.

Attention in Epstein's associations with powerful figures was renewed recently after the publication of more than 20,000 documents from his archives.

A portion of those referenced Trump, who has consistently denied any impropriety. The leader was a friend of Epstein's for a long time, but claims they fell out in the early 2000s, a couple of years prior to Epstein was initially charged.
